Know what you have committed to.
Contracts, addenda, obligations and payment milestones sit on the same data layer as your orders, invoices and ledger.
The signed copy is in a cabinet, the soft copy is in the mailbox of someone who left, and the terms that actually apply are in a third addendum nobody remembers. The changed discount surfaces at payment time; the automatic one-year extension surfaces on the renewal date.
Every commitment becomes a record with a lifecycle: drafted from a clause library, routed through the right signing order, then living on as obligations with dates and named owners. Because it sits on the same data layer as orders and invoices, the price on an invoice is checked against the term that was signed rather than against memory.
Each capability resolves an operating constraint.
One place that holds the version in force
How: Original, addenda and amendments stack by version, so the current text is the one that opens first.
Draft fast without drifting off standard
How: Templates and a legal-approved clause library; anything edited away from standard is flagged for review.
Signed means live in the system
How: Routing by authority, e-signature through a certificate authority, and the original filed as the status turns to in force.
Obligations do not fall into the gap
How: Delivery, acceptance and payment milestones become dated tasks with a named owner.
Renewal is a decision, not a default
How: Alerts ahead of the renewal or termination date, driven by the notice period written into the contract itself.
Money follows the term that was signed
How: Price, discount and payment conditions reconcile against orders and invoices on one data layer.
Drafting & negotiation
Clause library
How: Standard clauses approved by legal, classified by contract type and risk level.
Templates and versions
How: One version per negotiation round, comparable with the last and attributable to whoever changed a clause.
Addenda and amendments
How: An addendum hangs off its parent contract and overrides exactly the clause it amends, never floating alone.
Signing & retention
Internal signing routes
How: Multi-level routing by authority and value threshold, running on the org chart already in HRM.
E-signature through a CA
How: Electronic signature through domestic certificate providers; delegation and substitution both leave a trail.
Originals and access rights
How: The executed copy is retained for its record class period and opens only to those cleared to read it.
Execution & lifecycle
Obligations and payment milestones
How: Commitments break out into dated tasks with an owner and evidence of completion.
Renewal and termination alerts
How: Notice raised on the period stated in the contract — early enough to still renegotiate.
Order and invoice reconciliation
How: Prices and discounts on documents check back against the signed term; a mismatch surfaces before you pay.

- Parties · value · term in force
- Payment terms & discount
- Obligations, milestones and notice date
A contract is not a PDF in a folder: it carries the obligations still outstanding and the date a renewal must be decided, so “what are we committed to next month” is answered by a record rather than by whoever remembers longest.
Let AI read the draft the other side sent over and point out where it leaves your standard.
Compare a draft against the clause library and mark every departure with a citation.
Pull obligations, milestones and notice dates out of an executed contract into tasks awaiting confirmation.
Answer “what are this contract's payment terms” with a citation back to the exact clause.
Without an agent the work does not disappear — it moves onto a person.
It only starts when somebody remembers it and finds the time to sit down with it.
The business event starts it, not somebody's memory.
When a contract draft is uploaded
To learn where things stand you ask a colleague to check, then to export a report.
Ask in your own words; the answer comes off the numbers already in the system.
“How does this contract differ from our own template?”
Your strongest people spend the day on the same reconciliation as last week.
The repetitive half runs inside the permissions you granted; the decisions still stop with you.

Agents in this module
They sit on the very data layer above — and run inside the caller’s permissions.
Data flows straight to the other modules — no re-entry.
Signed terms sit beside orders and invoices on one data layer — a price that drifted surfaces before payment, not after the year-end close.
Frequently asked questions.
How is this different from document management (EDM)?+
EDM holds the corporate document store: versions, classification and the link between a document and the record that produced it. This module holds the lifecycle of a COMMITMENT — which obligations are outstanding, which milestone is next, which date forces a renewal decision. The executed copy still lives in EDM; it simply no longer lies still there.
So do employment and purchase contracts get re-entered?+
No re-entry. HRM stays the home of employment records and Procurement stays where buying runs; this module lifts the commitment side of those contracts into one view of term, obligation and payment condition.
Does it manage loan or finance-lease contracts?+
It does not. Lending and finance-lease products run on the credit institution's own core system, and Apus does not replace it. This module manages internal contracts and contracts with partners, suppliers and customers.
Can it e-sign through local certificate authorities?+
The signing route connects to domestic certificate providers; the specific list is on the integrations page, while scope and configuration are settled in solution design.
